Federal agencies are prohibited from lobbying.   Wealthy corporations often do it for them, though, but usually with string$ attached (such as influence over agency policies, project selection, and even contract awards).   Such government contractors even manage to "co-opt" or infiltrate certain so called "citizens´ space lobbies", policy institutes, societies and foundations.   This can occur through endorsements, sponsorships, the recommending of support from allies in the government, or through job offers, scholarships, and government contracts for influential members.   The tax-subsidized bureaucrats can even donate directly to some of these lobbying groups through the "Combined Federal Campaign".  Are we doing enough to support the space-related organizations that try harder to take the moral high road, though?    Below is a list of known websites for space-oriented lobbying groups.
